PRIMITIVE PLAY with Hobbit 11:00 - 12.30
Learn about playing at the boundaries and edges of emotional and physical limits to take your play partner to a primitive mindset of extreme submission.
We will cover threat response; fight, flight, freeze, posture, submit and how to use it to get your play partner to the submissive primitive state of mind; the biochemical effects on the body and the brain; what you can expect from the participants and what you can do with them when they are in this state of mind and how to return them to normal when you are done with them. Cast aside everything you've been taught about how SM should be done. Go to the edge of control and experience what exists in the primitive part of your brain. For experienced players. Novice players are welcome to attend but should know that important basics of SM play will not be covered in this workshop.

AFTERCARE - IT'S MORE THAN A PHONE CALL ON SUNDAY NIGHT With Hobbit 1:00 – 2:30
Aftercare can make or break a scene. The workshop will include information about the effect of play on the brain and the body during and after the scene for both the top and the bottom, specific techniques for resolving the "bottom crash" and "top drop" that happen immediately after play and in the days that follow a scene. We will also cover techniques for using your aftercare experience to enhance your next scene. What little bit of information on aftercare you can find usually runs to either; call the bottom a couple days later or soak in a bubble bath together and light aromatherapy candles. There are biochemical changes happening to your brain and body. The magnitude of those changes depend on how hard you played.

ROUGHHOUSING with Lamalani 3:00 - 4.30
Lamalani draws from seven years of self defense training and 22 years as a percussionist to teach how to hit ergonomically, ways to strike and how to balance out size differences.

FIRE PLAY with Lamalani 5:00 - 6.30
Learn fire play using torches to heat up your play. This class covers safety, technique and how to make torches.

Hobbit, International Ms Leather 2008 Washington State Ms Leather 1996: Hobbit has been involved in the leather community and doing SM since she graduated from the Evergreen State College in 1990. In addition to being a kick ass IMsL, Hobbit's involvement in the leather community is a long detailed list which she won’t include because it’s boring and nobody will actually read it. But ranges from judging uncountable contests over the past 21 years, to producing local contests in her home town of Seattle; fundraising, presenting workshops and demos all over the country. Hobbit is sparkly, bubbly, perky, sexy, takes a hell of a beating, and is a blast to have around.

Lamalani: A life-long Seattle resident, she has held the titles of Washington State Ms Leather 2008 and International Ms Leather 2009. She has been active in the leather community since 1999. Professionally, Lamalani makes hemp bondage rope with Twisted Monk. Lamalani has presented classes on various sex-positive and BDSM topics at Desire Leatherwomen’s conference, the Conservatory, Michigan Womyn’s Festival, Mistress Shae's Academy in Los Angeles, Portland Bad Girls, Southwest Leather Conference, Tribal Fire and offers private classes around the Puget Sound area. She is an enthusiastic practitioner of rope bondage, fire play and roughhousing. Lamalani relaxes by playing video games, visiting the ocean and riding her motorcycles.
